Spanish Health Scandal Unfolds in Moroccan Hotel
The video of a Spanish influencer traveling in Morocco has triggered an administrative investigation in Spain. The unexpected discovery of towels belonging to public services in a private establishment abroad has prompted health authorities to react.
The case began when influencer Jorge Amor posted on his social media a video showing the towels from his hotel in Morocco. To his great surprise, they bore the logos of the public health services of the Spanish regions of Andalusia and Extremadura, more precisely from the Navalmoral de la Mata area. "Look where the towels come from," he commented, stunned.
Alerted, the Extremadura Health Service (SES) immediately reacted by stating that "there is no authorized loss or transfer" of this material. The management has launched an internal review to check the inventories and identify any irregularities in order to understand how these towels ended up in Morocco.
The health authorities have recalled that "all material bearing the SES logo is for exclusive health use". They stressed that it "cannot be marketed, given away or reused outside the authorized framework". The investigation will now have to determine whether it is a theft, poor stock management or another channel.
