Spanish-French Border: Two Moroccans Arrested in Migrant Smuggling Bust

The Civil Guard and the French border police arrested in Guipúzcoa and Navarre two Moroccans accused of crimes of migrant trafficking, belonging to a criminal organization and infringing the rights of foreign citizens.
The criminal network helped migrants from North and West Africa illegally enter France from Spain. It brought the migrants into Hendaye, Bayonne and Bordeaux, and for this purpose, used the least guarded border routes by the police, reports La Sexta.
The criminal organization had a motorhome in an area near the French border intended to hide the migrants until the day they would be ready to illegally enter France.
The arrest of these two Moroccans made it possible to dismantle this network which would have succeeded in passing about forty migrants to France over the past four months. The two suspects have been made available to the investigating judge in Pamplona.
