Spanish Court Advances Death Threat Case Against Polisario Leader Brahim Ghali

Spanish political scientist Pedro Ignacio Altamirano had filed a complaint for death threats against Polisario leader Brahim Ghali with the investigating judge of the Malaga court. The latter gave a favorable response to this complaint and decided to bring the case before the National Court.
More legal troubles for the separatist leader. In a complaint filed with the investigating judge of the Malaga court, Spanish political scientist Ignacio Altamirano, one of the defenders of the Moroccanness of the Sahara, accused Brahim Ghali of being the instigator of the death threats made against him by Polisario militias through social networks. The plaintiff had demanded his immediate arrest.
In his order, the investigating judge of the Malaga court indicated that the Spanish politician had indeed been the subject of death threats and intends to send this case to the National Court. For the defense of Pedro Ignacio Altamirano, the decision of the investigating judge of the Malaga court is an "opportunity for the leader of the separatists to be tried and held accountable for his actions".
"This is a new case that adds to those already being investigated by the Spanish justice system against the so-called Brahim Ghali for accusations of human rights violations, violence and threats," stressed the lawyer of the Spanish political scientist.
Since the admission of the Polisario leader to a hospital in Logroño, near Zaragoza, under the borrowed name of Mohamed Ben Battouche, of Algerian nationality, the victims of the leader of the independence movement have been demanding that justice be done.
