Spanish Civil Guards Convicted in Morocco-Spain Drug Trafficking Ring

The Malaga court has convicted eight people, including three civil guards, as members of a criminal network specializing in drug trafficking from Morocco.
The civil guards were responsible for "ensuring security" during the drug unloading operations in Spain, reports Europa Press, which had access to the court’s decision. These agents were arrested at the end of an investigation conducted by the Internal Affairs Service (SAI) of the Civil Guard, who suspected cases of police corruption linked to criminal organizations involved in drug trafficking between Morocco and Spain.
