Spanish Charity Provides Ramadan Aid to Moroccan Families Amid COVID-19 Crisis

At the initiative of the International Alliance without Borders for Rights and Freedoms, Moroccans residing in the province of Tarragona (northern Spain) received food aid during this Ramadan month, which is particular due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement, the alliance indicates that this solidarity initiative is part of the actions carried out by its members for the benefit of the Moroccan community established in this region, since the declaration of the state of emergency in the country to deal with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Significant quantities of food and basic necessities have thus been distributed to more than 600 families residing in the province of Tarragona and its surroundings.
This operation, intended for members of the Moroccan community in a vulnerable situation, aims to promote solidarity and cohesion actions for the benefit of the needy people established in this region, who are experiencing difficulties in benefiting from social benefits, in this context of the health crisis related to the coronavirus, it is specified.
