Spanish Bar Manager Expels Customer for Racist Remarks Toward Moroccan Teen Worker

Dosi Veiga, the club manager, recounted the events on Sunday in a viral Twitter post. He explains that a man who was having a drink with his family on Saturday uttered racist insults towards the server, a 17-year-old Moroccan who is in his first job. "Let him come and pick this up and let a Spaniard take care of me," the customer said to the young man, who arrived in Galicia two years ago and still has difficulty understanding and speaking Spanish.

Another server informed the manager of the situation, and he decided to go talk to the customer, who addressed him with "arrogance" and threatened to call the Civil Guard, continuing to make racist remarks. It was then that other customers, overwhelmed by the offensive comments of this customer, asked Dosi Veiga to expel him.
