Spanish Adoptee Allegedly Held Against Will in Algerian Refugee Camp

A family has just addressed the Andalusian Parliament in order to take the necessary measures to bring back Maloma, a young woman they have adopted. She would be in Tindouf, against her will.
According to EFE, Maloma’s family met with Marta Bosquet, President of the Andalusian Parliament, on Thursday, asking for "institutional assistance" in the steps aimed at ending the "kidnapping" of their daughter, Maloma, who they say is being held hostage in the Tindouf camps in Algeria.
The case dates back 3 years, to December 2015. Maloma would have gone to the camps, with a return plane ticket in her possession, to see her sick biological mother. And she stayed there.
Shortly after, Maloma sent videos, stating that she was staying in the camps because it was her will. She would have said: "I am here because I want to be." Something her parents do not believe at all, saying, they, that she was kidnapped by force, married against her will, and that she is under 24-hour surveillance in the family home. She would therefore have been forced to shoot these videos...
In addition, the family relies on something else: Maloma would have confided to them during a telephone call that she wanted to return to Spain.
According to EFE, these steps by the family aim to ensure that "Maloma can publicly declare, in complete freedom and using her rights as a Spanish citizen, whether she wishes to remain in the Tindouf camps or return to Spain with her adoptive family".
