Spain Outranks Morocco in Global Military Power, Especially in Naval Forces

The Spanish army is more powerful than the Moroccan one, especially in the naval field, despite the various acquisitions of military equipment and defense systems by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) in recent years.
In the ranking of the greatest military powers in the world carried out by Global Firepower in 2022, the Spanish army is ranked 21st out of 145 with a score of 0.3556, while Morocco is ranked 61st with a score of 1.0524, recalls Huffington Post.
Spain surpasses Morocco in terms of naval power. The Spanish army has an aircraft carrier/helicopter carrier, an equipment that Morocco does not possess. It has 11 frigates against 6 for Morocco. Similarly, it has two submarines, while Morocco does not have a single one. Spanish superiority is total when it comes to mine warfare ships. It has 6 of them against 0 for the Moroccan army.
The corvette is the only naval equipment that the Royal Armed Forces have more than the Spanish army. The two countries are almost equal in terms of patrol boats, with 23 for Spain against 22 for Morocco, but also in terms of destroyers. Neither of them has any.
