Morocco Outguns Spain in Land Forces, Report Shows

Looking at these figures revealed by La Razón, Morocco has a more equipped and modern army than that of Spain. But more broadly, the Spanish army is more powerful than the Moroccan army.

According to the Global Firepower Index, which annually ranks the countries considered the most militarily powerful, Spain is the 21st military power out of 145 countries with a score of 0.3556, a decline compared to 2022 and 2021 where it had occupied the 19th and 18th place respectively.

Morocco, on the other hand, is ranked 61st with a score of 1.0524. The United States is the first military power according to this ranking, with a score of 0.0712. They are followed by Russia (0.0714), China, India and the United Kingdom.
