Spain Limits Border Crossings with France as Moroccan Diaspora Returns Home

At this time of year, the return of Moroccans Residing Abroad is causing heavy traffic on Spanish and French highways.
In an effort to ensure a smooth return for Moroccans Residing Abroad, the Spanish authorities are warning them of the temporary closure of certain crossings at the border with France.
Moroccans Residing Abroad are required to take precautions and inquire about the open crossing points during the periods of August 23, 24, 25 and 26.
The authorities specify that this decision follows the summit that will take place near the border with the Basque Country, between the G7 members. Draconian security measures will be deployed on this occasion to avoid any disturbances.
