Spain Launches Global Covid Vaccine Sharing Program, Morocco Among Potential Recipients

Spain has just launched a vaccine delivery program to poor and middle-income countries. Morocco, which started its national vaccination campaign a few days ago, could benefit from some vaccine doses.
The Spanish government will distribute Covid-19 vaccines to a large number of countries as part of a "universal access program". This is a "solidarity vaccination" to overcome the pandemic, the Spanish government said, with the aim of contributing to the vaccination of a significant percentage of the world’s population.
Morocco is among the beneficiary countries of this plan, which takes into account the majority of low-income and middle-income countries.
For now, no details are given on the types of vaccines and the times of their availability. The plan ultimately aims to vaccinate a hundred million people worldwide.
