Spain Launches Ferry Repatriation for EU Residents Stranded in Morocco

The Spanish Embassy in Rabat announced the organization on Saturday, March 27, of a new repatriation operation for the benefit of Spaniards and residents in Spain as well as vehicles registered in the European Union.
This new repatriation operation will be carried out by the Trasmediterranea ferries which will depart from the port of Tanger Med at 2:00 p.m. local time to reach the port of Algeciras.
Interested persons will have to present a negative PCR test carried out 72 hours before boarding. In addition to the PCR test, another type of molecular test called TMA will be required for passengers, with the exception of children under 6 years old. The deadline for booking is Thursday, March 25.
