Spain Imposes 14-Day Quarantine on Moroccan Expats and International Arrivals

MREs and other people coming from abroad will be subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine starting Friday, May 15.
Starting Friday, May 15, MREs and other people coming from abroad will be subject to a 14-day quarantine. This is indicated in a decision by the Spanish government, published on Tuesday in the Official Journal. This measure will be implemented throughout the duration of the state of emergency, which could be extended.
"The favorable evolution of the epidemiological situation in our country and the beginning of confinement require strengthening control measures," explains the Spanish government in its text.
The people placed in isolation will only be allowed to go out to buy essential products or seek medical care, and they must always wear a mask, the text details. These people "may be contacted by the health services for monitoring," the same source specifies.
