Spain Grants Temporary Visas to Moroccans Stranded in Ceuta Enclave

Provisional visas will now be granted to Moroccans stranded in Ceuta to allow them to visit their relatives in Spain. This has been decided by the local authorities of the Spanish enclave.
This decision was made in coordination with the central authorities, exactly one year after the closure, on March 13, 2020, of the borders by Morocco.
With these provisional visas, the many Moroccans still stranded in Ceuta (some having not been able to register on the repatriation lists, others having chosen not to return to Morocco) will be able to visit their relatives on Spanish territory, pending the reopening of the borders, and in particular the Bab Sebta crossing.
For the moment, the Spanish authorities announce an imminent reopening of the borders. For their part, the Moroccan authorities do not envisage this eventuality.
