Spain Extends Border Closure with Morocco for Ceuta and Melilla Until November 30

The borders of Ceuta and Melilla will remain closed until November 30, as has been the case since March 13, 2020.
This one-month extension decision, signed by the Spanish Minister of the Interior, was published in the Official Journal of the Spanish State, reports the EFE agency, which specifies that it was taken in view of the epidemiological situation in Morocco.
Thus, the border posts will remain closed until November 30 next, with the possibility of extending this deadline again, the same source said.
This is therefore a new renewal of the order of July 17, 2020 relating to the criteria for applying a temporary restriction on non-essential travel from third countries to the European Union and the Schengen associated countries for reasons of public order and health, it is recalled.
