Spain to Eliminate Tolls on 1,000 Kilometers of Major Highways by 2021

Good news for the Moroccan community in Europe. According to Spanish media, new highway sections will be accessible free of charge to drivers from the beginning of 2020.
At the beginning of 2019, the Spanish Government had canceled the toll rights on the Burgos-Armenion sections in the Basque Country, pending the application of free access on the AP4 (Seville-Cádiz) and AP7 (Tarragona-Valencia-Alicante) axes from January 2020.
The Barcelona-La Jonquera and Zaragoza-Mediterranean axes will have to complete the loop in 2021, with a total of 1,000 kilometers of toll-free highways, not counting the 500 kilometers of ring roads around Madrid whose management is provided by the State.
Each year, Spain devotes a budget of more than one billion euros to the management of road networks. To meet these expenses, a symbolic amount will be applied shortly to ensure their maintenance and the salaries of employees.
