Spain Denies Entry to Moroccan Travelers at Barcelona Airport Despite Valid Visas

Despite a Schengen visa and documents justifying the purpose and conditions of travel, Moroccan travelers have been denied entry into Spanish territory. The incident took place earlier this week at Barcelona-El Prat International Airport.
The decision of the Spanish authorities is final, explains a passenger, who points out that all Moroccan travelers were placed in a hotel near the airport.
Neither the round-trip ticket, nor his frequent trips to Spain, managed to change the mind of the airport police, continues the passenger, who had an appointment in a city hospital.
According to Akhbaraljalia, a special authorization from the Spanish embassy in Morocco would be necessary to access Spanish territory. For now, the man had to call on his lawyer to bring the case to court.
