Spain on Brink of World Cup Last 16, Morocco Looms as Potential Opponent

Spain is one point away from qualifying for the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar and could, if that happens, face Morocco.
The Spanish national team has a good chance of reaching the round of 16 of the competition. After the second group stage match, La Roja is in the lead with four points, ahead of Japan and Costa Rica, who each have three points, and Germany, who is bringing up the rear with one point.
If Spain beats Japan in the third round, it would retain the lead in Group E. Even with a draw, the Luis Enrique team will qualify for the round of 16, but its first or second place will depend on the result of the Costa Rica-Germany match.
If Spain finishes first in the group, it will face the second in Group F, made up of Morocco, Belgium, Canada and Croatia. If it finishes second, it will face the first in Group F, which could be Morocco or Croatia. The two teams are currently tied with 4 points each.
But nothing is yet certain. Belgium, who already have three points, have the assets to beat Canada in the last round.
