Spain Arrests Belgian-Moroccan Drug Trafficking Suspect Wanted by Morocco

Under an international arrest warrant issued by the Moroccan authorities, a Belgian-Moroccan has just been arrested in Tarifa, in southern Spain.
Aged 35, the individual was about to board a boat bound for Tangier, reports La vanguardia.
During the verification of his passport, it turned out that he was the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the Court of First Instance of Tangier. Thereupon, the police proceeded to his arrest, pending his extradition to Morocco.
The facts with which he is charged date back to 2014. This Belgian-Moroccan would indeed be involved in the hashish trafficking.
For having imported and exported drugs, he faces a sentence that can go up to ten years in prison, indicates the same source.
