Sound Energy Denies Agreement with Moroccan LNG Plant, Negotiations Ongoing

The gas company Sound Energy PLC stated that it has not concluded any agreement with a Moroccan liquefied natural gas plant. The British company thus denies the rumors of the signing of a contract between the two parties.
The information disseminated by British media regarding the signing of an agreement between the British company and the Moroccan liquefied natural gas plant is not verified, it is written in a press release, adding that Sound Energy is currently in full negotiation with Italfluid Geoenergy SRL for the lease of a micro-liquefied natural gas plant in the Tendrara field in Morocco. These negotiations, announced for the first time on December 23, "are progressing positively and are well advanced," the British company specified, stressing that the negotiations will continue after the expiration of the exclusivity on March 31.
Established in Morocco in 2015, Sound Energy operates gas drilling sites in Tendrara in the Oriental region and Sidi Mokhtar in Marrakech-Safi.
