Sister of Main Suspect Arrested in Belgian Teen Kidnapping Case

The case of the kidnapping of a 13-year-old boy in Limburg has taken a new turn: the sister of the Moroccan Khalid Bouloudo, the main suspect, was placed under an arrest warrant on Thursday, June 4.
The public prosecutor’s office stated on Friday that the 39-year-old sister of Khalid Bouloudo was placed under a warrant after her arrest last Thursday, reports Belga. A search was also carried out at the home of the parents of the main suspect in this case, the public prosecutor’s office adds. The 13-year-old teenager would have been sequestered in this house whose occupants were spending Ramadan in Morocco.
In total, 10 suspects were arrested: Khalid Bouloudo and six others on Monday, June 1, after the release of the victim, the sister of the main suspect on Thursday and the last two on Friday. In the past, Khalid, 45, had been sentenced to 10 years in prison for recruiting young people from Maaseik who wanted to go to Syria.
