New Silver Deposit Discovered in Morocco’s Imiter bis Mine, Aya Gold & Silver Reports

The precious metals extraction company Aya Gold & Silver in Morocco announced on Thursday the discovery of a new mineralized zone extending over more than four kilometers off the Imiter bis silver deposit, near Tinghir.
In a press release, the Canadian miners announced that the newly discovered deposit differs in the quality of its ore and is one of the rare mines in the world where silver can be expressed in its native form and produces silver metal ingots with a purity of 99.5%.
The company indicates that the sampling results have also made it possible to identify five priority targets. Three of these targets (intermediate zone, south zone and copper-rich zone) will be drilled from October 2021, with a diamond drilling program of approximately 4,000 meters.
These results confirm the potential of a large polymetallic structure that could extend over four kilometers on the surface at Imiter bis, says Benoit La Salle, President and CEO of the company.
He adds that "these initial high-grade values confirm the promising prospects that the Imiter bis deposit will offer. They also represent a growth opportunity parallel to Zgounder, which continues to develop".
To recall, Aya Gold & Silver, a Canadian publicly traded company focused on the operation, exploration, acquisition and development of silver and gold deposits in Morocco, operates extraction and processing facilities at its Zgounder silver mine. Its field of action also includes the polymetallic deposits of Boumadine, Amizmiz, Azegour and Imiter bis.
