Sexual Assault Allegations Threaten ’Real Housewives’ Morocco Season

The broadcast of season 4 of the reality TV series "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" filmed in Morocco could be canceled due to a sexual assault allegedly committed by American model Brandi Glanville, a TV personality.
Peacock is considering removing "Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco" due in particular to an incident involving Brandi Glanville, 50, and Caroline Manzo, 62, reports Page Six. These two TV personalities had participated in the filming of season 4 of the series in Marrakech. Brandi would have pushed Caroline against the wall before kissing her several times without her consent. "It was unwanted, and Caroline’s distress about it did not seem to stop Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries may have been crossed that Caroline considered serious and uncomfortable," a source told People.
Glanville allegedly touched Manzo "on the breasts and genitals" while she was in a bathroom, off camera, during filming, in the presence of two other crew members, in a private home on January 25. According to sources close to Manzo, Glanville "shoved her tongue down her throat." Others claim the fifty-year-old had been drinking alcohol before the incidents and "seemed drunk," and that she and Manzo had drunk at least four tequila shots each and started kissing.
Uncomfortable after the incident, Manzo took a flight to return to the United States on January 27 before the end of filming. "I can’t say much - just because it’s not good for my mind - but it took a lot of things for me to go back there," she said in New York Live. She will add: "Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me. I came back earlier... At this point, I really don’t have room in my head to talk about it, so I’d rather not."
Informed of the incident, the Peacock production fired Brandi and wrapped up filming the series without these two women. An investigation has been opened into this sexual assault. "The safety of actors and crew during filming is extremely important and we take all reports seriously. In this situation, production immediately launched a thorough review and is taking appropriate action," Shed Productions and Peacock said in a joint statement.
