Sevilla FC Looks to Offload Moroccan Striker Munir El Haddadi Amid Transfer Speculation

Munir El Haddadi was not selected for the friendly match against Angers on Wednesday, which ended in a crushing victory for Sevilla (0-6). The Moroccan striker could ultimately decide to bid farewell to the Spanish club.
Sevilla has already announced its intention to part ways with Munir El Haddadi, one of its best strikers. The Moroccan did not play a single minute on Wednesday, during the last match against Angers, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Yet he was the only senior team reserve striker available, with Marcao and Rafa Mir not being in condition. But the coach, Julien Lopetegui, preferred to choose players like Iván Romero for this friendly match.
Munir arrived at Sevilla from Barcelona for one million euros. But he failed to find his place in Lopetegui’s (4-3-3) game plan, who does not consider him either a reference striker or a winger, despite his 24 goals in all competitions last season.
The Moroccan did not want to leave the Spanish club, but could change his mind and end up accepting the proposal of big clubs like Alavés, Getafe or Celta.
