Sevilla FC Eyes Chelsea’s Ziyech as Potential Martial Alternative
The sporting director of FC Seville, Monchi, would consider recruiting Hakim Ziyech in case the agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of Anthony Martial does not materialize.
Monchi would be interested in Hakim Ziyech to strengthen the attack of FC Seville, believes Todo Fichajes, recalling that the sporting director had wanted to sign the Moroccan international since he was still at AS Roma.
Ziyech has failed to gain the trust of former Blues coach Franck Lampard and current coach Thomas Tuchel, who is determined to part with him. Under these conditions, the former Ajax winger, who has always dreamed of playing in Spain, could accept Monchi’s proposal and join his compatriots Bounou, En-Nesyri or El Haddadi at FC Seville.
But everything will depend on the outcome of the negotiations with Manchester United for the transfer of Martial, which remains a priority for FC Seville.
