Severe Turbulence Causes Panic on Morocco-France Flight, Miss France 2022 Onboard

The passengers of a flight connecting Morocco to France on Sunday, May 15, 2022 experienced moments of great fright. Amandine Petit, Miss France 2022 who was also on board the plane, recounts what happened.
"Probably because of the storms, the plane had a lot of turbulence, at two precise moments, where we descended in altitude very quickly. Screams, tears, a lot of anxiety from the passengers, it was impressive. Right after, the flight was diverted, but we didn’t know why. [...] Without information from the captain, it was starting to panic. And when landing, we were starting to be relieved, the captain put the engines back on at the request of the control tower," revealed Amandine Petit in a story on her Instagram account, who was returning to France after a stay in Casablanca.
Amandine Petit is relieved that the worst was avoided. "We had an eventful day. All’s well that ends well but when you take a plane and that kind of thing happens, when there are fears, screams, people are in panic, everyone is in panic, it wasn’t funny," concluded Miss Normandy 2020.
