Severe Thunderstorms Forecast for Central Morocco Following Heatwave

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts locally heavy thunderstorms on Tuesday, June 14 in several provinces of the kingdom including Beni Mellal.
After the scorching weather on Saturday, June 11, it’s time for thunderstorms. Locally heavy thunderstorms (15-25 mm) are expected from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the provinces of El Hajeb, Khemisset, Khouribga, Khenifra, Beni Mellal and Settat, the DGM said in an orange weather alert bulletin.
