Senegalese Referee to Officiate Morocco-Zambia World Cup Qualifier

Morocco faces Zambia on Friday, June 7 as part of the third round of the 2026 World Cup African qualifiers. A Senegalese refereeing team has been appointed by the International Football Federation (FIFA) to officiate this match.
FIFA has just appointed Senegalese referee SY Issa as the central referee to officiate the Morocco-Zambia match scheduled for this Friday at the Grand Stadium in Agadir starting at 8pm. He will be assisted by his compatriots Camara Djibril, Bangoura Nouha (touch judges) and Gueye Daouda (fourth official).
Morocco shares Group E with Zambia, Niger, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo. On November 21 last year, the Atlas Lions defeated Tanzania 2-0 in the second round of the 2026 World Cup African qualifiers organized jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
