Senegalese Migrants Stranded at Morocco-Mauritania Border Seek Repatriation

The Moroccan authorities have been blocking nearly 150 Senegalese at the border between Morocco and Mauritania for more than a week. Back from Europe, they are counting on the support of their country to return home.
Faced with the wait that is becoming longer and longer at the border, these Senegalese have launched an appeal to the competent authorities: "We are a group of Senegalese, about 150 people who want to return home. We are blocked at the border," announced Balla Mbaye, one of the Senegalese nationals on RFM. According to him, they left Italy and crossed France and Spain before being blocked at the Moroccan border without any reason while they were on their way to their country.
After unsuccessfully trying to contact the Senegalese consul in Morocco, they wish the support of the Senegalese government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad in order to return to the country.
