Security Guard Thwarts Bank Robbery Attempt in Casablanca Suburb

This security guard would have, according to Alyaoum24, tried to neutralize the robber and even to arrest him. This media wrote yesterday: "An individual tried this morning to rob a bank branch, except that a private security guard prevented him and tried to surround him".

The same source explains that the thief did not really appreciate this intervention by the security guard and used a weapon in his possession to injure him. He managed to strike him a blow.

In the meantime, the gendarmes had heard about what was happening in the bank branch and went to the scene where they managed to apprehend the criminal. He was arrested before being taken into custody.

As for the security guard, he was immediately taken to the hospital to be treated. The media does not specify what kind of injury he had.

Last week, still in Ain Harrouda, two individuals were arrested after robbing a bank and already getting their hands on a large sum of money, again according to the same source.
