Search Intensifies for Five Missing Moroccan Students in Zagora Region

Five students have been missing since Thursday in the Zagora region. The local authorities are working to find them.
Aged between 14 and 17, the five students (three girls and two boys), two of whom are from the Tighz douar and three from the Tamlalt douar, are enrolled at the Ibn Rochd preparatory college. They disappeared in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, after leaving their homes to, they told their parents, go to tutoring classes at their school, according to sources on the Al3omk website.
The students did not keep any money or cell phones on them before their disappearance, which suggests the involvement of a third party in this collective disappearance, the same sources indicate, specifying that an investigation has been opened by the Royal Gendarmerie services of Zagora to search for these students, with the collaboration of their families and classmates.
One of the missing girls left her family a farewell letter in which she informed them of her decision to leave in search of a better future, without however giving details about her destination. Another also left a letter to her family asking for forgiveness and informing them of her decision to immigrate.
It was after reading these letters that the families alerted the authorities and the Royal Gendarmerie of their disappearance. The two girls who wrote letters to their families are friends and spent a lot of time together, says a close friend of theirs. The families call on anyone with information about the missing girls to inform them or approach the authorities.
