Search Expands to Morocco for Missing Argentine Surfers Last Seen in Spain

The relatives of Emmanuel Soria and Maximiliano Ludvik, two Argentine surfers who went missing at sea in Malaga on August 27, continue their search in Morocco and Ceuta in an attempt to find them.
Ignacio and Francisco Soria, Emmanuel’s brothers, were in Melilla and northern Morocco, specifically in Nador and Tetouan, in recent days to distribute posters with photographs of the two missing persons. On Friday, they went to Ceuta to continue the search in an attempt to find their brother and his friend, reports La Opinion de Malaga.
"We visit hospitals, ports and the police where we ask questions and leave posters with their photos because we want to find them, alive or not," Ignacio told the press on Saturday. In Ceuta, they had the opportunity to meet the government delegate, Rafael García, and to visit the Civil Guard and the university hospital.
The relatives of the two Argentines have recalled that the maritime and aerial searches were launched on August 28, the day after their disappearance, and ended on September 11, without success. Currently, only radio alerts are maintained for boats navigating in the area, whether fishing, merchant or pleasure boats, they specify.
The two Argentines left the Misericordia beach in Malaga on August 27 on a surfboard. Since then, they have not given any news. The crew of a sailboat later found the surfboard 15 miles southeast of Malaga.
