Search Continues for Two Moroccan Teens Missing After Swim to Ceuta

Two young Moroccans, Hussein Mubarak and Muhammad Taniber, aged 17 and 18 respectively, have been missing at sea since last December. They were trying to reach Ceuta by swimming, accompanied by a friend who was able to reach the shore.
The families of Hussein Mubarak and Muhammad Taniber have been without news since December, when the two Moroccans, accompanied by their friend Nafia Al-Amrani, decided to reach Ceuta by swimming. On arrival, only the latter was able to reach the shore. The other two, Hussein and Muhammad, are missing.
It was Nafia who confirmed to the families that his two travel companions had not arrived in Ceuta.
Hussein Mubarak and Muhammad Taniber thus join the long list of Moroccan immigration candidates who have disappeared at sea. For the moment, the news of their disappearance has not been communicated to the authorities in Ceuta, since their families cannot cross the border to carry out this procedure. The Moroccan authorities are also not informed of the disappearance of their fellow citizens. As a result, no search protocol has been activated.
Their photos have been published in the port area to launch the search. But so far, the users of these places claim to have never crossed them.
