Schalke 04’s Hamza Mendyl Demoted to Reserve Team After Missing Dental Appointment

We know a little more about the reasons for the demotion of the Moroccan player Hamza Mendyl, playing in Germany, to the Schalke 04 reserve team.
As mundane as it may seem, the player’s demotion responds to a disciplinary rule within the German club. Thus, for having missed a dentist’s appointment, Hamza Mendyl was sent to the reserve team by the new Schalke 04 coach.
Although he did not appreciate the behavior of the left-back, which results from a flagrant lack of professionalism, his Dutch coach Hubb Stevens has promised that the Atlas Lion will soon rejoin the Schalke 04 first team.
At 21 years old, Hamza Mendyl, who was loaned by Lille for 6 million euros, has played 16 games with the Ruhr club. He could leave the German club for another French club before the end of the season.
