Saudi King Salman to Vacation in Tangier, Morocco as City Prepares for Royal Visit

The King of Saudi Arabia, Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has chosen the city of Tangier to spend his summer vacation. The city is preparing to receive the Sovereign under good conditions.
King Salman will set foot on Moroccan soil in a few days to spend his summer vacation in Tangier, according to sources on the Alyaoum24 website. A team of Saudi officials including Dr. Raafat Abdullah Al-Sabbagh, special advisor to the royal court, accompanied by Saudi princes including Prince Turki Bin Salman, brother of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, have been in Rabat since Sunday and have traveled to Tangier on Tuesday to prepare for the king’s arrival in the best conditions, the same sources inform.
King Salman will take up residence in his usual palace, located in the Jbila region, a few meters from the sea, the same sources say, recalling that the king’s residence in Tangier has undergone major renovation work. Local authorities are also busy arranging and beautifying the surroundings of the king’s palace to make his stay pleasant.
