Morocco Backs Saudi Arabia’s Bid to Host World Expo 2030 in Riyadh
On the high instructions of King Mohammed VI, Morocco has decided to support the candidacy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to host the World Expo (Expo 2030) in the city of Riyadh, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Morocco has decided to support Saudi Arabia, given the ties of sincere brotherhood uniting King Mohammed VI and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the statement said.
It added that "this decision also falls within the framework of the continuous solidarity and active cooperation and constant and mutual support between the two brotherly countries."
