Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Support for Morocco’s Territorial Integrity in Sahara Dispute
During a meeting with Habib El Malki, President of the House of Representatives, Abdellah Ben Saad Al Ghariri, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Morocco, once again reaffirmed his country’s support for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
For Abdellah Ben Saad Al Ghariri, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Morocco, this issue constitutes a "red line" and a constant of Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy.
The Saudi diplomat reaffirmed this will of his country during talks with the President of the House of Representatives, Habib El Malki. Abdellah Ben Saad Al Ghariri notably discussed urban development and the construction projects carried out in the field of infrastructure and transport, in particular. He also praised the full expansion that the tourism sector is experiencing in Morocco, assuring that it is important to encourage tourist exchange between the two countries.
The President of the House of Representatives welcomed the quality of the historical bilateral relations, as well as "the constant position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in favor of the territorial integrity of Morocco and its solidarity with the Kingdom." He especially extended an invitation to the President of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for a working visit to Morocco, in order to "consolidate the cooperative relations" and also to examine ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in all areas.
