Sanctioned Russian Oligarch’s $1.5 Billion Superyacht Spotted Near Morocco

One of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s superyachts, currently in financial difficulty due to economic sanctions (asset freezes) against Russia and Russian oligarchs, is off the west coast of Morocco. These sanctions also concern the seizure of their private ships and jets.
The sanctions targeting Russian oligarchs, after the invasion of Ukraine, also affect their private jets and yachts. They are being seized by Western judicial systems. Owner of an entire fleet of decorated boats, Roman Abramovich now only has two currently in motion: "Solaris", a 140-meter yacht and "Eclipse" formerly the longest personal yacht on the planet. The latter was spotted in the waters this week.
Known as the "$ 1.5 billion yacht", it was spotted off the west coast of Morocco. "Eclipse" was built in 2010. It is the vessel of excess, with its double helipad, nightclub, cinema, library, giant aquarium, art gallery, game room, even a conference room, as well as fitness spaces (spa, double pool...).
