Saïd Chaou criticizes Algeria for its support to the "Rif National Party"

Former Al Hoceima MP Saïd Chaou blames Algeria for having authorized the pseudo Rif National Party (PNR), created in Brussels (Belgium) in September 2023 and known for its aspirations for independence of the Rif in Morocco, to inaugurate its official representation in the upscale neighborhoods of Algiers, in Poirson, in a villa belonging to the authorities.
The opening of the representation of the pseudo Rif National Party (PNR) in the upscale neighborhoods of Algiers, in Poirson, in a villa belonging to the Algerian authorities continues to provoke reactions. In a message, Saïd Chaou assures that the "September 18 Movement" has no connection, directly or indirectly, with what the Algerian intelligence services are promoting, which has authorized the pseudo Rif National Party (PNR) to open its office in Algiers. For the movement, those who are manipulated and materially and morally supported by Algeria represent only themselves. The former deputy also assures that there has never been any coordination with them, nor encouragement or incitement to engage in a process of personal settling of scores on the back of the Rif.
Chaou says he recognizes that there are outstanding political issues concerning the Rif, but the resolution of these issues must be done within a strictly Moroccan-Moroccan framework, without the intervention of foreign forces only interested in their own interests and seeking to disrupt the political path that everyone should consider participating in and supporting with constructive proposals. The movement has thus condemned the attempts of the Algerian intelligence services to exploit the tensions to achieve their objectives. It also renewed the call for the release of all political prisoners, especially those who remain detained following the Rif movement.
