Ryanair Warns Customers of Website Maintenance: Check-In Disruptions Expected

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has issued a warning to its Moroccan and other nationality customers who are due to take flights this week.
Ryanair has sent a message to Britons warning them of the inability to check in online on its website after 6pm on Tuesday. Anyone with flights from 6pm until 5am on Wednesday November 9 is warned to check in earlier than usual. "Due to scheduled maintenance, the Ryanair website/app will be temporarily unavailable from 6pm Tuesday 8th to 5am Wednesday 9th," the company states in a press release, adding that customers who need to take a flight during this 11-hour period should check in online before 6pm on Tuesday.
Passengers who do not check in online before 6pm will be forced to pay a penalty of £55. Ryanair is one of the only airlines to charge passengers who do not check in before arriving at the airport. In addition to online check-in, passengers will also have to print their boarding pass or download the mobile boarding pass to their phone. Those who do not will have to pay a £20 fee to have their boarding pass printed at the airport. The low-cost airline also specifies that destinations such as Morocco, Turkey, Cephalonia in Greece do not accept mobile boarding passes.
