Ryanair Urges Moroccan Customers to Claim COVID-19 Flight Refunds

Ryanair has launched an appeal to its Moroccan and other nationalities customers whose flights were canceled during the period from March to June 2020 due to travel restrictions related to the coronavirus and who have not yet received their refund to contact the OTA customer service.

The Irish company assures that it is continuing to process the files of its customers affected by this refund phase. According to Ryanair, all cash refund requests for March have already been processed, those for April have been processed 50% by the end of June, the balance of cash refunds for April will be processed by July 15, and finally the totality of the refunds for May and most of the refunds for June will be processed by the end of July, reports Air journal.

In order not to leave anyone behind, the Irish low-cost airline is calling on all affected customers who have not yet received their refund to contact the OTA customer service. In doing so, they will be able to ensure that the latter have followed up on Ryanair’s notification emails and that these travel agencies are cooperating with the low-cost to have these refund requests also processed, adds the same source.

"We are pleased to have made such significant progress during June in eliminating the backlog of cash refunds due to covid-19 flight cancellations. Over 90% of passengers who booked directly with Ryanair and requested a cash refund for travel between March and June will receive their refund by the end of July," promises Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson.
