Ryanair Passengers Demand Compensation After Marrakech-Paris Flight Delay and Diversion

Passengers on a Ryanair flight from Marrakech to Paris are demanding compensation from the Irish low-cost airline due to a delay and diversion that were detrimental to them.
Flight FR 65 operated by Ryanair between Marrakech and Paris Beauvais on November 2 did not go as planned. In a petition, the passengers say they were "heavily damaged during this flight". They mention the reasons and explain the facts. While the flight was scheduled to take off at 6:15 a.m., the crew informed them that the departure would be delayed "by about 30 minutes, because there is a storm in the Paris region." "The plane was able to take off much later and the landing took place in Toulouse far from Paris Beauvais (instead of Paris Beauvais). The pilot was waiting for instructions from Ryanair’s headquarters in Dublin," they specify.
In Toulouse, the company decided to transport the travelers by bus to Beauvais (10 hours of driving). "We note that young children and a sick woman had to suffer these damages. We note that after a very long bus journey (one of which broke down) the drivers brought the passengers to Beauvais late in the evening, while most of them live in the Paris region. They had warned their respective families to pick them up in Paris, as the instructions were not clear. Most of the travelers arrived home at 2:30 a.m. the next day instead of 9:30 a.m. the previous day."
The petitioners condemn this diversion and denounce the incompetence of the company. As a result, they are demanding "compensation of 500 euros for the damages suffered by the company, including the travel expenses incurred by each family who could not take the bus," but also "the full refund of the plane ticket."
