Ryanair Now Accepts Dirham Payments for Domestic Flights in Morocco

Good news for Moroccan travelers! Domestic flights operated by Ryanair can now be paid for in dirhams.
This measure puts an end to an uncomfortable situation for passengers, who until now had been forced to use their tourist allocation to make their payments.
Indeed, the Irish company initially billed its tickets in euros, a practice not in compliance with Moroccan regulations, which stipulate that commercial transactions on national territory must be carried out in local currency, indicates Médias24. This anomaly had provoked strong protests from consumers, then from the Moroccan authorities.
The Ministry of Transport quickly took matters in hand. After seizing Ryanair, it granted it a one-month deadline to comply with the law. While this deadline was largely exceeded, the essential thing is that the problem is now resolved.
