Ryanair’s Morocco Expansion Sparks Outrage in Excluded Northern Cities

The residents of Al Hoceima and Nador have expressed their anger at not seeing the two cities served by the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair, authorized to operate domestic flights in the kingdom.
The residents of Al Hoceima and Nador denounce the exclusion of the two northern provinces in the domestic flights recently launched by the airline in Morocco. The Irish low-cost airline operates 11 domestic routes between nine airports in different regions of the kingdom, it is recalled.
Al Hoceima and Nador have airports that meet the standards to receive Ryanair flights, and the residents also need low-cost domestic flights, say civil society actors in the two cities who cry out for injustice on the part of the airline.
Eager to take advantage of this opportunity, the residents of Al Hoceima and Nador have called on deputies and local authorities to plead for the inclusion of the two cities in the domestic flights of the Irish low-cost airline.
