Ryanair Resumes Flights to Morocco, Boosting Tourism to Key Cities

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is resuming its flights to Morocco starting this Sunday, October 11. This is a joint decision of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the supervisory ministry.
As part of this resumption, 23 flights have been scheduled for the next two weeks. They take into account three destinations, namely Marrakech connected to Paris, Brussels, Liverpool and Manchester; Agadir which reconnects with Brussels and Manchester. As for Oudja, it will be reconnected to Paris.
The objective of this approach by the two structures is to relaunch tourism while promoting the return of air activity with direct links to Morocco. For Adel El Fakir, Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office, this is a first step that precedes many others. "This is a first breath of fresh air and I hope we will have others in the coming weeks, with Ryanair but also with other airlines, thanks to the support and agreement of the public authorities. We are doing everything we can for this," he added.
In addition, discussions are continuing to extend the program until next November. Like Ryanair, other airlines should also soon resume their flights to Morocco.
