Ryanair Faces Summer Flight Disruptions as Cabin Crew Union Announces Strike Plans

Having already canceled several flights, some of which were operated to Morocco due to a strike by its cabin crew, Ryanair could again make such a decision. And for good reason, the SNPNC-FO, representing the flight attendants and stewards at the company, filed an unlimited strike notice on June 3 for the summer period.
In a press release, the union stated that the dates on which it will call for a work stoppage will be communicated to the company in due course. "However, it is clear that the focus will be on the Bastille Day bridge as well as the waves of departures and arrivals of summer vacationers," it specified.
The union denounces the non-compliance with labor law, the Civil Aviation Code, particularly rest times and "misleading communication from the Management towards its employees regarding the progress of negotiations."
