Ryanair Expands Summer 2021 Routes from Bordeaux, Including New Morocco Flight

Subject to the lifting of travel restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Irish airline Ryanair will launch three new destinations, including one to Morocco, from Bordeaux-Mérignac, as part of its summer 2021 program.
Three new destinations for summer 2021. The low-cost airline Ryanair plans to launch its fourth domestic destination. The 189-seat Boeing 737-800 will thus operate flights from Figari-Sainte Catherine airport from July 4 to September 29, on Wednesdays and Sundays at 3:40 pm (arrival at 5:20 pm) and return flights from Corsica at 5:45 pm (arrival at 7:25 pm). The Irish low-cost carrier will connect Bordeaux and Agadir with two weekly rotations operated year-round from June 1, with departures on Tuesdays at 6:15 am (arrival at 8:05 am) and Saturdays at 1:40 pm (arrival at 3:30 pm) and returns from Morocco (Agadir-Al Massira airport) on Tuesdays at 8:30 am (arrival at 12:20 pm) and Saturdays at 3:55 pm (arrival at 7:45 pm).
Ryanair will launch a new route between Bordeaux and Mahon airport in Menorca, with two flights per week from July 12 to October 28, with departures on Thursdays at 11:40 am (arrival at 1:10 pm) and Sundays at 9:45 am (arrival at 11:15 am), and returns from the Balearics on Thursdays at 1:45 pm (arrival at 3:15 pm) and Sundays at 11:50 am (arrival at 1:20 pm). In total, 88 flights per week will be operated to 33 destinations from Mérignac as part of the airline’s summer program. This program "will help stimulate air traffic in the region as vaccination programs continue and Europe reopens in time for the summer holidays," the airline said in a statement, noting that the "restoration of its base" inaugurated in April 2019 involves two aircraft stationed on site and 60 local jobs.
"[...] From May until the summer holidays, flights will gradually resume. Ryanair announces three great new summer destinations. The dynamism of the company allows us to offer a diversified program with exemplary regularity of flights for the period. We are collectively in a positive dynamic and are pursuing our objective of offering our passengers optimal health conditions during their trip," said Jean-Luc Poiroux, Director of Development at Bordeaux Airport.
