Ryanair Expands Rapidly in Morocco Ahead of 2030 World Cup

The airline Ryanair is developing "very rapidly" in Morocco, in anticipation of the 2030 World Cup that the kingdom is jointly organizing with Spain and Portugal, its CEO Michael O’Leary said on Wednesday.
"This year, we are opening twelve lines, our first domestic lines, in Morocco, I think we are flying to twelve Moroccan airports, so we are investing very heavily in Morocco," O’Leary said during a press conference in Lisbon.
The boss of the Irish low-cost company continued: "I have no doubt that when the World Cup takes place in 2030: a) Ireland will probably not qualify, b) England will not win, hopefully, and c) Ryanair will operate many flights between Spain, Portugal and Morocco, transporting many people to the World Cup."
O’Leary also praised Morocco for the massive investments made to equip the kingdom with "very impressive" infrastructure to ensure the success of the organization of the 2030 World Cup, alongside Spain and Portugal.
