Ryanair Expands Madrid Routes, Adds New Flight to Essaouira, Morocco

The low-cost airline Ryanair has announced the launch of a new air link between the Spanish capital and Essaouira, with two weekly flights between Madrid Barajas airport and the Essaouira-Mogador airport.
The launch of this new service is part of the increase in Ryanair’s flights from Madrid this winter to 15 destinations, while connecting four new cities, including Ouarzazate, Ryanair said during the presentation of its new pilot and cabin crew training center in Madrid, for an investment of 100 million euros.
"As Spain’s number one airline, Ryanair is delighted to add 4 new routes this winter from Madrid to Aqaba, Essaouira, Liverpool and Treviso, as well as increasing frequencies on 15 other routes for the winter holidays," said Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson.
"This program will be operated with the 14 aircraft we have based at Madrid airport, a $1.4 billion investment that supports over 5,400 local jobs and offers our Madrid customers an unbeatable choice of routes at the lowest fares, while stimulating high-value inbound tourism during the winter low season," he added.
