Ryanair Expands Cabin Baggage Allowance: 33% More Space for Passengers, Including Morocco Flights

The Irish low-cost airline now gives its passengers the opportunity to bring a larger hand luggage item in the cabin (40 x 30 x 20 cm), which represents a maximum depth 33% greater than the European standard (40 x 30 x 15 cm). Morocco is affected by this measure.
Ryanair changes its baggage rules. Since Thursday, the company allows its passengers to bring a larger hand luggage item in the cabin (40 x 30 x 20 cm), the company said, specifying that this represents a maximum depth 33% greater than the European standard (40 x 30 x 15 cm). It is thus anticipating the new European standard. Each passenger has the possibility to bring one piece of hand luggage free of charge, provided that it can be placed under the seat. This measure also applies in Morocco, the company confirmed to Bladi.net.
For an additional piece of luggage, it is necessary to subscribe to Ryanair’s Priority Boarding service, the Irish low-cost airline reminds. Why such a measure? This measure aims to offer more comfort to travelers, says Dara Brady, Marketing Director, while reminding that any non-compliant luggage will be charged at the boarding gate.
